Unit-2 Sunning Proposal Assignment Help

Survey characteristics

Research questionsThe research questions are aimed at establishing frequencies of certain phenomena. The purpose is to describe the phenomena in term of frequencies (numbers and percentages) and investigate if there any statistically significant relationship between phenomena.
The research questions can be ascertained from the management problems. There is a lot of gap while collecting information as well as while giving the software back to Logistics department. Deriving from the same, Research questions for this thesis objective are firstly to help IT department to work out a method via they can have all the requirements as well as continuous feedback from logistics department while designing a new software to cope for an emergency. Secondly, Logistics department people should also have the knowhow to handle the new software designed (Murison& Webb 1991).
Sampling frameSampling will be done from all the relevant stakeholders of the processes involved of Logistics and IT department of Sunning Corp.  They mostly will be based in Logistics and IT department of Sunning Corp. The population size will be around 100 people.
Probability sampling methodWe will be using cluster sampling method in which we will be making clusters of relevant population which are involved in every step of the process flow between IT and Logistics department of Sunning Corp. the sample size will be around 100 people
Non-probability sampleWe will be using self-selection method as this will yield the best result for our research problems
Data collection methodThe data collection method(s) which will be employed are telephone interviewing, post or e-mail interview, face-to-face interview as well as any other way of distribution the questionnaires using which we can collect the required information
Measures taken to get reliable dataWe will assure high response rate(s) by garnering top management sponsorship of It department and Logistics Department of Sunning Corp. This will help us to ensure that our research is given enough data about the same. Representativeness is very important as this can only give us unbiased results as well as proper insights about the problems. We can exercise control measures over the sample content by controlling open questions to a minimum when written surveys are circulated and whenever any detailed response is required, we will work upon personal interviews so that we can control that only relevant information flows towards us. The questionnaire will be vetted by subject matter experts of both the departments of Sunning corporation as well as by thesis guide to maintaining professional quality. This will also help us to prevent any questions to get into the survey which can have even a hint of personal bias in questions as well as answers (Swales 1990).
Data-analysisWe will use advanced techniques to analyze data. This can only be decided after we are done with framing of questions for our survey and proper scanning of final sets.

Theoretical foundation

Unit-2 Sunning Proposal Assignment Help e will be using the ECSI framework to understand the difference between the current process as well as best in class standards. The integration of business processes as well as IT systems presents inhomogeneous environments (i.e., consistent data formats as well as terminologies) that needs to be supported by well-established approaches like data integration using Scheer’s ARIS for CIM (Bergstrom &Raberg 2004).
However, in more heterogeneous environments for development having a range of data formats as well as local terminologies like the production as well as automation domain, typically stakeholders range from several areas which are like business experts, software engineers as well asproject managers who work together to develop as well as operate software-intensive systems (Larman& Craig 2004). Any homogenization of these software environments is often not achievable, if the relevant stakeholders come from very different backgrounds, don’t have a common log to understand the requirements or their organizations change over time due to mergers or acquisitions (Ambler & Constantine 2002).
We can use the standard framework for collection of common problem domain concepts is the Enterprise-Control System Integration1 (ECSI) standard which can be used for developing automated interfaces between enterprise control systems. The objectives of ECSI are for providing a) a consistent terminology for having a foundation for different stakeholder communications, b) consistent information models for data interchange, and c) consistent process models, which are the basis for clarifying application functionality as well as how information shall be used in segregated environment (Ambler, S 2002).

Project risks

The major risks which are involved at this moment or in the future which will have effect on ort research are namely:

  • Quality of the research.
  • Lead time of the project for getting approvals from Sunning Corp
  • Cost or needed manpower for survey
  • Any unforeseen risk which arises while carrying out the work (Lovitts and Wert 2009)
