Religion is a system of belief, faith or worship followed by the essence of devotion. In my draft paper I had chosen Hinduism for the site visit research paper. ISKCON is worldwide famous for its worship of Lord Krishna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead. The reason behind my choice of site visit was that I am a very spiritual kind of a person and exploring various religions and its aspects is my passion. Hinduism has been my interest and I was looking for a chance to explore it. On my research I found that in Hinduism, one of the most beloved Gods is Lord Krishna and my research helped me in landing up to ISKCON. ISKCON is a conventional sect body whose aim is to promote the awareness or consciousness of Krishna all over the world.
For the purpose of field research, my friend who is an ardent follower of ISKCON, once insisted to read a book named “Krsna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead”. It was during the middle of my read, I started developing my interest for knowing more about Krishna. Later, I came to know about ISKCON and I had attended one service where the Lord’s teachings are shared during a session. It was my desire to explore The Krishna’s Temple so that I can learn more about Hinduism as well as move forward in the field of religion (Livingston, James C.).
