1. Prepare a flowchart that shows the steps involved in documenting an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
A flowchart of Inspection and Test Plan highlights the requirements that are essential for making a construction plan successfully. In this context, it is required to follow the steps systematically as at first the materials are required for describing the process such as welding. After that specific activities should be mentioned such as checking the certificate of the materials, checking the dimensional process, checking the welding electrode and jointing the fit ups. Then followed by this structure, procedure of the flow chart explains the process of conducting the plan for making its successful (Ahola et al. 2014, p.1321). In addition to this, it is also very important to focus on the acceptance criteria of the materials. Then the most important thing is to highlight the key points that are the hold points and surveillance of the supplier and clients respectively.

Here, in this case hold point refers to an activity that puts a hold on the construction inspection level until and unless the plan is passed. Hold points are important for making critical inspections in order to make a concrete verification. Review stands for the revision of the plan made by the construction company. This review is done by the customers in order to input their opinion as per requirement (Boud et al. 2014, p.66). Witness refers to an activity that is done in order to verify the current plan and keep a copy or record. Finally, spot witness is a term that means to witness the activities being present in the site or spot.

In the flowchart H stands for hold points, R stands for review, SW stands for spot witness, W stands or Witness and A stands for approval.
Inspection Test Plan (ITP) can be used as a monitoring tool as it helps in setting out the critical controls of the ponuts, hold pints and other necessary stages.
