The US Smartphone market comprises of all the top firms of the world that are into the manufacturing and selling of smartphones. Smartphone is a mobile electronic device with an advanced OS which allows installing of new applications and is always connected to the internet. Overall it provides a very diverse functionality to the user.
As many market participants of the US smartphone market are international and multinational players, hence it is very difficult to estimate the market share of the participants in the US smartphone market and so sales figures are not broken down to US sales only (Rose, 1990).
