This assignment is aiming to identify and critically compare two brands of Australia in context of their salience level in Australian market. Through this assignment student would also reflect upon the importance of brand salience features. Brands which are selected for this assignment is Pura (milk brand from national foods) and Pauls ( a not as famous as Pura ) milk brand name in Australia.

PURA BRAND MILK
Pura is a well known brand of milk and other milk products in Australia. It is owned by national food company which is actually own by the Mitsubishi group of Japan. Pura brand is a house hold name in Australia and many consumers in Australia perceive Pura as the purest and most reliable milk product brand. If we go through the CBBE model of brand building there are four steps in brand building in a country first would be developing brand identity, second is creating a proper brand meaning, third is brand response and fourth is brand relationship (Keller, 2008). These four steps and sequential in nature and their chronological development helps in assessing the length and breadth of brand in customer’s mind set and market both (Schmidt,2002).
