About the Book

The Australian National University Library is a library which was designed primarily for the students of the university. The library is one of the biggest and well stocked libraries in Australia. Currently, the basic clientele of the library is restricted to students of the university and other members who want to use the resources available with the library. The library also caters to external people to the university under certain terms and conditions. The library is home to more than 2.5million physical records and much more online records which are accessible through the online library portal. The library is divided into five basic branches based on subjects and students can search the library based on the catalogue, e-journals and e-resources database. The resources include but are not limited to books, rare books, music scores, e-journals and articles, theses and newspapers. On the outset, the library website looks like the primary window into the world of the library and looks robust enough to handle all the everyday needs of the students. The updating of the website is also done on a daily basis which is reflected on the website appropriately.
