INTRODUCTION
This assignment is aiming to develop and discuss some inclusion techniques adopted by a teacher for a student with behavioral problems in class room. Through inclusive practices teacher is aiming to build a positive class room atmosphere and support the student to develop a focus towards a holistic education. For this assignment a fictional class room situation has been used where a teacher is facing the behavioral issues from a student. STUDENT INFORMATION
Student is a male student of age 8 years and he is only son of a doctor couple. Since both parents are extremely busy they cannot give the child sufficient time. it is observed that student sometimes throws unnecessary tantrums in the class and make it a point to do something to get punished and pointed out in the class. It is observed that he seems to enjoy the punishment and he feel special when he is punished and stranded alone in class room.
TYPE OF PROBLEM
Problem which student is suffering at an early stage is attention seeking disorder or ASD.Student is making multiple attempts to gain attention of his class mates and teacher and he might also be hoping that by getting in trouble on a regular basis he might get some attention from his parents at home as well. This disorder makes a person give the attention gained so much wieghtage in comparison to the punishment and humiliation in class room that a student is willing to accept it (Sale & Carey, 1995).
